Acsentra® SL was launched as a privately owned and operated Spanish Limited company in 2004 based upon the joint experience of the owner/managers.
The owners were not new to the property industry, with backgrounds in commercial facilities management and outsourcing, as well as retail management and logistics.
The business owners, who had a relaxed and open attitude towards the prospects for the company, set out to provide a highly user focused property portal, and it wasn’t long before they identified a perfect niche in the market.
"For too long, the large property portals had pitched towards agents" explains Neil, co owner and founder. We immediately saw that those wanting to sell their own properties were left with little option other than to sell through an agent and pay sometimes extortionate commissions in the process. We wanted to place the choice and therefore the control with the vendors, without reducing the internet users choices by concentrating only on private vendors OR agents"
Taking advantage of the growing trend in relocating to foreign shores was fundamental to their plan.
Their core local Spanish and other northern European clients were already used to high quality service delivery, but were struggling to find it with other typically sales, target and profit driven agents. It was obvious that Acsentra’s gut-feel for service led strategy complimented clients’ needs for a personalized response to their own demands and objectives.
